How to have an awesome honeymoon in Mauritius?

So you're planning to tie the knot and have decided to spend your honeymoon in paradise, or Mauritius as it's also known! Well let me firstly say that you've made a wise decision. Mauritius is the ultimate honeymoon destination with beautiful beaches, crystal turquoise waters, wonderful scenery, stunning accommodation options, mouth watering local and international cuisine, a tropical climate and a wide variety of activities to keep even the most active of honeymooners busy! Here are a few tips to ensure your honeymoon is one to remember!

1. Check out our list of accommodation options you're sure to find the perfect accommodation for the perfect honeymoon on www.holidayrentalsmauritius.com.

2. Begin planning early to ensure you get exactly what you want. This will avoid missing out on flights and accommodation etc

3. Plan together, after all it is a honeymoon for both of you!

4. Set a tentative budget. You don't want to return from your honeymoon with soaring credit card debt!

5. Don't be afraid to let everyone know that you are honeymooners. In doing this, you are likely to receive better treatment and even some freebies such as Champagne on your flight or gifts on arrival at your property

6. Spend a day or two after arrival just relaxing! It's likely you be somewhat exhausted after the festivities of the wedding. Take a day or two just to wind down. Perhaps work on your tan on the golden sands of Mauritian beaches!!

7. Be flexible! It's likely that not everything will go to plan. Be prepared for this and don't let minor disruptions spoil your honeymoon

8. Last of all, enjoy your honeymoon! You'll have many holidays as a married couple but only 1 honeymoon
