The Indian Ocean Rowing Race sees solos, pairs and teams of four from across the world test their physical limits on a voyage of over 3000 nautical miles. The epic race departs from Geraldton, Western Australia and finishes at Mauritius. The ocean race is the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, giving teams the chance to take in the stunning marine life that inhabits the ocean, such as sharks, dolphins and shoals of fish. Pairs are expected to cover the route in 80 days and fours should take 60 days. |
